About
Experienced and Open-Minded. Serious and Fun.
As strategists, researchers, writers, designers, admissions directors, and alumni, we've branded schools coast to coast for over a dozen years together. We've sat in the rooms, walked the campuses, and felt the stakes. It's what makes the work better.

Nice to meet you
Barbara Egan
Barbara is a Loomis Chaffee and Rumsey Hall alumna whose career has come full circle. Over the past dozen years, she has dedicated her work entirely to independent school marketing, branding more than 60 schools from coast to coast. Before that, she spent over three decades across large agencies and boutique firms, building the strategic and creative range that now shows up in every StoryScape engagement. Aligning personal values with professional purpose set the stage for where she is today.
Jean Bradley
Jean's 25 years in marketing agencies, including Digitas, are matched by a decade of dedication to private and independent schools. A Williston Northampton alum, parent of a Carroll School and Eagle Hill School student, and former Assistant Alumni Director and Dorm Parent at Williston, Jean brings both operational rigor and genuine insider perspective to every engagement.
Rick Frisiello
Rick is an Emmy Award-winning writer and creative director whose specialty is identity architecture and brand concept development. More than 25 years of experience across all media, over a decade at national and international agency level, and more than 10 years focused on education marketing. He knows how to find the line that makes everything else make sense.
Chuck Matzker
Chuck has the sensibilities of a fine artist and the brain of an engineer — a combination that has made his design and art direction stand out since 1997. With over a decade focused on independent schools, he approaches every project like it's the most important assignment in the world. Because to him, it really is.
Christina Lane
Christina brings 20 years of private school experience, including her tenure as Director of Admissions and Institutional Advancement at The Langley School. For the past decade she has focused on best-practices and communications assessments for independent school leadership teams, the kind of institutional knowledge that only comes from having done the job.
Enough about us, what about you?
Thank you so much for your leadership to get us to this point in the journey.
